The Sweat Garage by Shaw is an exclusive training facility where private and group sessions are held. Groups only accommodates a small number of people at one time, as Stirling believes that having smaller groups means he can really provide much needed individual attention to all the clients in the session which means getting the best out of their workout. Stirling also offers online coaching for people who cannot see him in person. His online coaching program is a high touch coaching program that gives you 1:1 support to help you achieve your specific goals in a way that fits into your lifestyle and jives with your busy schedule.
Stirling’s extensive studies in Exercise Science as well as being a former Professional Boxer means that he can provide all types of programs and workouts for all people and at any stage of fitness, beginners to advanced. Stirling takes great pride in training his clients and what is most rewarding for him is to see his clients progress and start loving the body their in and adapting to a healthy lifestyle which in return leads to more energy and a happier and healthier you.
Sweat Garage is owned and run by fitness professional Stirling Shaw. In 2004 Stirling studied Exercise Science under Dr Abbott at the Fitness Institute International in Florida, USA. After returning back to South Africa, Stirling then continued his studies in Personal Training, Special Populations Training (elderly people, pregnant women, children etc) Conditioning for Sports and Periodization Training at the Exercise Teaching Academy. After completing his studies Stirling then went on to pursue his Professional Fighting Career. After having done 4 fights with no losses, Stirling sadly had to stop fighting due to an ACL knee reconstruction. He then went on to condition fighters in preparation for their fights as well as building his personal training clientele which lead to the opening of the Sweat Garage by Shaw.
“There is nothing more rewarding for me than to see the results from my programs and workouts. Watching transformations and seeing how positively it impacts on people mentally and physically” – Stirling Shaw
